Important Notice for those booking for the 2013 summer season

The cafe will not be open for the 2013 season. Please be prepared to either bring your own food items

(we can supply tabletop BBQ's and/or you can use the fire-pits in the backyard) OR travel

to Haines Junction for your meal requirements. There are no kitchenettes in the motel units.

There is to be no cooking in the motel units.

Haines Junction is a scenic and quiet 20 minute drive away with lots of opportunities for photos of the

stunning scenery and the chance to see assorted wildlife.

Welcome to Kathleen Lake Lodge

Kathleen Lake Lodge Motel  (see note on Newsflash re the cafe) is located on the Haines Highway (Yukon Highway #3) at Km 220 {26 km or 16 miles} south of Haines Junction, Yukon. The Lodge offers comfortable, pan-abode log motel-style accommodation. From your room, enjoy exhilarating views of King's Throne Mountain in Kluane National Park, part of the Wrangle-St. Elias World Heritage Site.

The Lodge provides one of Yukon's choice destinations for sight-seeing, outdoor adventure, and relaxation. Come and experience direct access to world-class fly-fishing, boating, hiking--outdoor adventure that will challenge a range of skills and satisfy a variety of appetites.

An easy drive or short walk will take you to Kathleen Lake and hiking trails in Kluane National Park. Walk 1/2 km in the opposite direction to the picturesque Kathleen River with its renowned spin cast and fly fishing.

Our seasonal operation is open from early May to mid September.
